This protects the seat and wall from impact damage, eliminates noise, and reduces the risk of fingers being caught — particularly valuable in care home and family bathroom environments.

How does this differ from the standard Roper Rhodes shower seats?
The Lux (8030) adds a soft-close mechanism and a higher 200kg weight capacity compared to the 8020 and TR7001 (both 160kg). It is the premium option in the Roper Rhodes shower seat range.

Is this seat suitable for bariatric use?
Yes — the seat is rated to 200kg (31.5 stone), making it one of the highest-capacity folding shower seats available.

What wall types is this suitable for?
The seat can be mounted on any solid wall capable of supporting the load.
