The finish refers to the bottle trap, not the basin. The basin itself is white vitreous china in all variants. Selecting Chrome, Brushed Brass, Brushed Bronze, or Black changes the finish of the included bottle trap, allowing you to coordinate with your tap and accessory finishes. Is the tap included? No — the tap is sold separately. The basin has a single tap hole, compatible with any standard monobloc basin mixer tap or pillar tap. What is a bottle trap and why is it included? A bottle trap is the curved waste pipe fitting beneath the basin that retains a small amount of water to prevent drain odours entering the room. Its compact, cylindrical shape is visually discreet and easy to clean. Including a matching bottle trap ensures the waste pipework coordinates with your chosen brassware finish — a detail that makes a significant difference to the finished look of a cloakroom. What are the exact dimensions? The basin is 450mm wide, 320mm deep, and 170mm high. Please allow a manufacturing tolerance of +/−2% on dimensions over 75mm and +/−4% on dimensions under 75mm. What wall types are suitable for installation? The basin can be fixed to solid masonry walls using standard wall plugs and fixings. For stud walls (plasterboard), the basin must be fixed to the studs or a reinforced noggin — plasterboard alone will not support the weight. Professional installation is recommended. What guarantee does this basin carry? The Sondrio basin carries a lifetime guarantee on sanitaryware from Aqua Elegance, covering manufacturing defects under normal domestic use. Can I order if the item shows as out of stock? Yes — you can still place your order even if this item shows as out of stock. We will fulfil your order as soon as stock is replenished. When the cloakroom is tight, the Grohe Euro Ceramic compact handrinse basin is the answer. At just 370mm wide and 180mm deep, it is one of the smallest wall-hung basins available — yet it carries Grohe’s full specification: premium vitreous china, PureGuard antibacterial ceramic coating baked into the glaze, integrated overflow, and the kind of dimensional precision you expect from German manufacturing. Alpine white gloss finish, single tap hole, wall-hung. Model 39327000. ⚠️ Tap and waste not included — sold separately. The basin has 1 tap hole. A compact monobloc basin mixer is recommended for proportionate aesthetics. A basin waste is also required. Key Features 370mm width — one of the smallest wall-hung basins in the Grohe range 180mm depth — ultra-shallow projection; ideal for under-stair WCs and narrow cloakrooms Grohe PureGuard antibacterial coating — baked into the glaze; inhibits bacterial growth for the life of the basin Premium vitreous china — non-porous, stain-resistant, easy to clean Alpine white gloss finish — crisp, clean; suits any scheme Wall-hung installation — floating aesthetic; simplifies floor cleaning 1 tap hole — compatible with monobloc mixer taps and single pillar taps Integrated overflow — built-in safety overflow German engineering — manufactured to Grohe’s exacting quality standards What is PureGuard? PureGuard is Grohe’s proprietary antibacterial ceramic coating, integrated into the glaze during the firing process rather than applied as a surface treatment. This means it cannot wear off or be cleaned away — it remains active for the entire lifespan of the basin. PureGuard inhibits the growth of bacteria on the ceramic surface, making it particularly well-suited to high-use cloakrooms and commercial washrooms. The Grohe Euro Ceramic compact handrinse basin is 370mm wide and just 180mm deep. The 180mm projection is exceptionally shallow — standard cloakroom basins typically project 300–380mm from the wall. This makes it suitable for under-stair WCs, very narrow cloakrooms, and any space where even a standard compact basin won’t fit. What is PureGuard and does it wear off? PureGuard is Grohe’s antibacterial ceramic coating, integrated into the glaze during the high-temperature firing process. Because it is part of the glaze rather than a surface treatment, it cannot be cleaned or worn away — it remains active for the entire life of the basin. Is the tap included? No — the tap is sold separately. The basin has a single tap hole, compatible with any standard monobloc basin mixer or pillar tap. A compact or mini basin mixer is recommended to suit the proportions of the 370mm basin. Browse our basin taps to find a compatible option. Is a waste included? No — a basin waste is sold separately. You will need a click-clack or slotted basin waste to complete the installation. What wall types are suitable? The basin can be fixed to solid masonry walls using standard wall plugs and fixings. For stud walls (plasterboard), the basin must be fixed to the studs or a reinforced noggin — plasterboard alone will not support the weight. Professional installation is recommended. Wall fixings and brackets are included. What guarantee does this basin carry? The Grohe Euro Ceramic basin carries Grohe’s standard manufacturer guarantee. For specific guarantee terms, please refer to the documentation included with the product or contact Grohe directly. Can I order if the item shows as out of stock? Yes — this product is available to order even when stock shows as zero. Please allow additional lead time and contact us on 01603 381095 to confirm availability.

The finish refers to the bottle trap, not the basin. The basin itself is white vitreous china in all variants. Selecting Chrome, Matt Black, Brushed Brass, or Brushed Bronze changes the finish of the included bottle trap. Is the tap included? No — the tap is sold separately. The basin has a single tap hole, compatible with any standard monobloc basin mixer tap or pillar tap. What is a bottle trap? A bottle trap is the curved waste pipe fitting beneath the basin that retains a small amount of water to prevent drain odours. Unlike a traditional P-trap, a bottle trap has a compact, cylindrical shape that is visually discreet and easy to clean. Including a matching bottle trap ensures the waste pipework coordinates with your chosen brassware finish. Does this basin require a pedestal? No — the Genoa is a wall-hung basin. It mounts directly to the wall using the supplied fixings and brackets, with no pedestal required. What wall types are suitable? The basin can be fixed to solid masonry walls using standard wall plugs and fixings. For stud walls, the basin must be fixed to the studs or a reinforced noggin — plasterboard alone will not support the weight. Professional installation is recommended. Can I order if the item shows as out of stock? Yes — available to order even when stock shows zero. Call us on 01603 381095 to confirm lead time.
