Frequently Asked Questions

What is a large bore shower hose?
A large bore hose has a wider internal diameter (11mm in this case) compared to a standard hose, allowing a greater volume of water to flow through. This makes it ideal for power showers and high-pressure systems where maximum flow is important.
What does WRAS approved mean?
WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approval confirms the product meets UK water regulations and is safe for use with mains water supplies. It is often required for commercial and new-build installations.
Will this hose fit my shower?
This hose has conical ends which are compatible with most standard shower handsets and wall outlets. If you’re unsure, check the connection type on your existing hose before ordering.
Can I order if the item shows as out of stock?
Yes — we can still accept your order even if the item shows as out of stock. We will fulfil it as soon as stock becomes available. If you have any questions about lead times, please contact us at customerservice@bubblegumbathrooms.co.uk.
