Installation Information
Arrange professional installation and agree the concealed pipe positions before tiling. Check the spout reach, outlet height, basin or bath clearance and wall requirements against the supplied technical instructions before work begins. Gravity-fed, combi and mains-fed systems must meet the minimum 0.4 bar operating pressure.
Choose the appropriate outlet fitting for your installation: the tiltable water-saving aerator for basin use or the included high-flow straightener for bath filling. A suitable waste must be purchased separately.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can this mixer be used for a basin or a bath?
Yes. It is designed for either application, provided the spout reach, mounting position and water supply suit your installation. Both a basin aerator and a bath-filling straightener are included.
Does the 5L/min flow rate apply to bath filling?
No. The stated 5L/min rate relates to the water-saving basin aerator. Use the included high-flow straightener for bath filling; actual performance depends on your water supply and installation.
How does cold start work?
With the handle in the central position, the tap supplies cold water. Move the handle left when you want hot water, helping avoid unnecessary hot-water demand during cold-water use.
What is the minimum water pressure?
The minimum operating pressure is 0.4 bar. Ask your plumber to check the available pressure, particularly on gravity-fed systems.
Is a waste included?
No. Choose a separate waste compatible with your basin or bath.
Does the 15-year guarantee require registration?
Yes. The standard guarantee is 2 years, extendable to 15 years by registering the product with Abode, subject to its guarantee terms. Follow the documentation supplied with the tap.
