Measure Before Ordering
Add together the lengths of every edge that needs sealing and allow for the fitting requirements in the manufacturer's instructions. 3.2m does not automatically cover three sides of every bath or shower tray. For example, two 900mm edges and one 800mm edge total 2.6m before fitting allowance, whereas two 1700mm edges and one 700mm edge total 4.1m. Choose your strip length from your actual measurements, not the number of sides alone.
Installation Guidance
Prepare clean, dry, dust-free surfaces and apply the strip to the wall-facing edges before positioning the tray or bath and tiling. Follow the supplied Classi fitting instructions for surface preparation, corner detailing and the final sealant joint. This strip provides a secondary barrier; it does not replace the finished joint seal or the rest of the installation's waterproofing requirements.

Will 3.2m cover my bath or shower tray?
Measure all edges requiring sealing and add the fitting allowance specified in the instructions. Coverage depends on the dimensions and layout. A 3.2m strip will not cover every three-sided installation.
Does this replace silicone sealant?
No. Classi Seal provides a secondary waterproof barrier behind the finished joint. Complete the installation with the joint sealant and waterproofing details specified in the manufacturer's instructions.
Can I tile immediately after fitting the strip?
The self-adhesive strip does not require an adhesive curing wait. Once fitted and the tray or bath is positioned, follow the manufacturer's instructions for tiling and final sealing.
What is the difference between this and the per-metre option?
CS032 is supplied as one pre-cut 3.2m length. The Classi Seal per-metre option, CS025, is sold by the metre for installations requiring a different length.
