Bottom inlet cisterns receive their water supply from below — typically through the floor or from pipework concealed within the stud wall. This keeps all plumbing hidden and creates a cleaner appearance compared to side or top inlet cisterns. It’s particularly popular for wall-hung toilet installations where all pipework is concealed behind the wall.
Will this fit in a standard stud wall?
Yes — at 140mm deep, this cistern fits within a standard 150mm stud wall. A minimum depth of 100mm is required. The cistern is mounted to the wall using the supplied brackets.
Is this compatible with flush plates?
No — this cistern is only compatible with push button actuators. It is not compatible with flush plates. The chrome push button is included; alternative finishes (Brushed Brass, Matt Black, Brushed Bronze, White) are available separately.
Is professional installation required?
Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper support, waterproofing, and compliance with building regulations. The bottom inlet water supply (15mm) should be positioned to connect from below, and the adjustable flush pipe connects to the WC pan and can be cut to the required length.
