Frequently Asked Questions
How do I adjust the soft-close speed?
If the soft-close mechanism is closing too quickly or too slowly, it can be easily adjusted using a 7mm spanner to tune the hinge tension. No specialist tools or plumber required.
Does this seat come with both top and bottom fix fittings?
Yes — both top-fix and bottom-fix fittings are supplied with every seat, giving you flexibility to suit your WC pan.
Is this a real wood toilet seat?
No — this seat is made from MDF with a wood-effect or white finish. MDF is more resistant to bathroom humidity than solid wood, making it a practical and attractive alternative.
Will this seat fit my toilet?
This is a standard shape seat suitable for most WC pans. Please refer to the technical drawing in the product images for exact dimensions, and check your pan measurements before ordering. If in doubt, contact us at customerservice@bubblegumbathrooms.co.uk.
Can I order if the item shows as out of stock?
Yes — you can still place an order even if the item shows as out of stock. The seat will be ordered to your requirements and typically takes around 2 extra days to dispatch. For any queries, contact us at customerservice@bubblegumbathrooms.co.uk.
