Frequently Asked Questions
Does this slide rail require drilling?
No — the Quick Shower Slide Rail uses a full-length 30mm wide peel-and-stick self-adhesive strip on the back of the rail. No drilling, no wall damage. Ideal for tiled showers or rental properties where making holes is not permitted.
How strong is the adhesive fixing?
The rail uses a heavy-duty self-adhesive strip designed to hold the weight of the rail and a shower handset. For best results, ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and grease-free before fitting. We recommend allowing the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before use.
What hoses does this fit?
The slider mechanism is compatible with standard cone-shaped shower hoses — the most common type used with handheld shower heads. If you're unsure whether your hose is compatible, contact us at customerservice@bubblegumbathrooms.co.uk or call 01603 381095 before ordering.
What are the end caps and slider made from?
The end caps and slider mechanism are chrome-plated plastic, giving a clean chrome finish that complements the polished aluminium rail.
Will this fit my shower enclosure?
The rail is 750mm long and suitable for most standard shower enclosures. Ensure you have a flat, smooth wall surface of at least 750mm height available for fitting.
Can I order if the item shows as out of stock?
Yes — if stock shows as zero, the item is ordered in specially for you and will typically be dispatched within 4 working days. Contact us at customerservice@bubblegumbathrooms.co.uk or call 01603 381095 if you have any questions.
