Frequently Asked Questions
How does the self-cleaning mechanism work?
When the shower is switched off, internal pins move through the jet openings to help clear limescale and debris. They retract when the shower is switched on again, allowing water to flow through the jets.
Does self-cleaning mean the head needs no maintenance?
The pin-clean mechanism helps keep the jet openings clear, but does not remove the need for routine care of the shower head. Follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions for your chosen finish.
Will it fit my existing shower arm?
The connection is ½" BSP. Check that your shower arm has a matching connection and sufficient clearance for the 250mm head before ordering. A matching thread alone does not confirm your shower system's operating requirements.
Is this a handheld shower head?
No. This is a fixed overhead head for a compatible wall or ceiling shower arm, rather than a handheld handset. A swivel joint and filter washer are included.
Which finish should I select?
Choose Chrome & White for SKU 71110 or Black for SKU 71160. Select the required finish before adding the head to your basket.
Can I order if the item shows as out of stock?
Yes. This product can be ordered when stock shows as zero. For current availability and lead times, email customerservice@bubblegumbathrooms.co.uk or call 01603 381095.
