Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between cross head and lever handles?
Cross head handles have a traditional four-spoke design that gives a classic, heritage look. Lever handles are more contemporary and streamlined. Both offer the same quarter-turn operation — it's purely a matter of style preference.
How many tap holes does this require?
Just one tap hole — despite having twin handles, this is a monobloc design with both controls housed in a single body. Standard deck-mounted installation. Professional installation is recommended.
Does the spout swivel?
Yes — this tap features a swivel spout for flexible positioning over the basin.
Is the click waste included?
Yes — a click waste is supplied as standard, giving you a complete basin solution.
What water pressure is required?
This tap operates between 0.5 and 5 bar, suitable for combi boiler, mains-fed, and most gravity-fed systems. If your system runs below 0.5 bar, please check compatibility before ordering.
What does the guarantee cover?
Tavistock's 10-year guarantee covers both the tap and the ceramic disc cartridge for complete peace of mind.
