Application Guidance
Check the current Soudal technical guidance for substrate suitability, surface preparation, application temperature and curing requirements before use. Test adhesion and paint compatibility on a discreet area. For specialist panel systems, use the adhesive and sealant specified by the panel manufacturer rather than assuming a general-purpose product is suitable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Fix All Flexi a silicone sealant?
It is a hybrid polymer sealant and adhesive, rather than a conventional silicone sealant.
What materials can it bond to?
The existing product specification lists wood, metal, glass, concrete, brick, ceramics and many plastics. PE, PP and PTFE are excluded. Check Soudal's guidance for your exact substrate and test suitability before application.
Can I paint over it?
Yes, it is paintable once cured. Check compatibility with your chosen paint and follow the recommended curing requirements before decorating.
Can it be applied to damp surfaces?
Fix All Flexi is listed as suitable for damp-surface bonding. Follow Soudal's preparation and application instructions for the conditions on site; do not assume this makes it suitable for every submerged or specialist application.
